In this approach, a custom web server retrieves data reported by the device by subscribing to topics on the Eleven Vending MQTT broker and issues commands via a REST API.

5.3 Replace MQTT Broker
In this solution, all cloud-based systems are owned by the merchant.
The ElevenVending App connects directly to the merchant's custom MQTT broker using the MQTT connection parameters provided by the merchant, reports data to specified topics, and subscribes to and consumes messages from the MQTT broker's downlink message topics.
When choosing this solution, both parties need to negotiate the connection parameters and topic definitions.
The ElevenVending App will report all currently supported data to the custom MQTT broker, with functionality identical to version 5.2.
